Blue Button
Blue Button was developed by the United States Department of Veteran Affairs in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Defense, and the Markle Foundation's Consumer Engagement Workgroup. It was designed to enhance veterans' access to their personal health information, encourage patient engagement and support patient-centered care.
MyHealthProfile allows patients to print their personal health records or download them to a computer. They can share with family members or health care providers.
Patients can download a variety of information including medications, immunizations, lab results, and more.
MyHealthProfile enables users to select individual categories of information or entire health records to download.
The information can be downloaded in PDF and XML formats.
